Dreamers Blog
![]() I believe in my dream to inspire other human beings through my passions and interests. Whether it be through film, music and entertainment or me being a critic. I've always loved pop culture, specifically the retro stuff. I also believe in my dream to the fullest and that's the key to having a dream and goals in the first place. One day I want to film a horror movie, the same script I've been writing since seventh grade. I believe in my dream and in myself enough that I know I will be under the lights one day but only to inspire others and enlighten them and to try to make this world that can be oh so cruel a happy place. What started this dream? When I was younger I saw The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and fell in love. It was gritty, raw and just seemed real. It gave someone like me hope that you can make a masterpiece with little to no money but a WHOLE lot of passion and elbow grease. It almost looks like someone took a camera said go, took the footage and edited together the masterpiece that is The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. So that and all early horror got me into filming and that's when I started pursuing my dream. Believe it or not Bam Margera of CKY and Jackass fame is a big childhood hero of mine as well. He showed me you can take nothing and make something out of it. More than something, an entire franchise. What motivates you to follow this dream? Everyday waking up motivates me. Everyday I think about the day I succeed and can sit back and reflect on the hard work and years of passion that got me there. My mother and my family motivate me to follow my dream. Not to sound selfish but me as well. I motivate myself to continue my dream. I have an undying dream of film and music and that will never ever go away. What are your goals? I don't necessarily need to be famous or have a million dollars although those things are impossible not to think of when looking at your hero's and role models. My goal might not be what your average persons is. I'd like a little cabin home with some land, a dog and my acoustic guitar. I'd film some movies and shorts out there and record music and be as happy as can be. So yes I'd love to make it far in entertainment and it's an honor to even be featured in this blog to be honest. For me though a goal is as simple as smiling under the sun and mastering your craft while inspiring others. What would you like people to know and where can we find you? Well I'd like people to know I'm a hippie at heart who's obsessed with good blues and rock music. I wish everyone well and hope everyone succeeds in everything they want to accomplish in life. ![]() I believe in my dream to…? I just want to inspire to do the unthinkable. With a name like Evan the Twerkgod, it was hard to persuade people to support us, sometimes it still is, but I love a challenge. People are always going to tell you what can't be done simply cause they don't understand, but I know as our success builds some will view what we have accomplished and think if they can do it, I can do it and that's the beginning thought to many great things. What started this dream? The love of music really. As I started to give an effort into the love of music it began to build a purpose of the dream. What motivates you to follow this dream? Motivation comes from my team and supporters. My team really believes in me and I never take it for granted. I have a fear of failing them because they have believed in me so much. We have grown in fans and supporters. With continuous growth you can expect the fans and supporters you do have to be pushing you forward, and actually doing alot of the work as promoters. It's never overlooked and always appreciated What are your goals? If I state my goals that gives away my plan. I learned to never share your plans. What would you like people to know and where can we find you? I would like them to know I come in peace and they can find me on all social sites via @evanthetwerkgod ![]() I believe in my dream to push the boundaries In life. Whether that's through the fitness industry, Modelling, Acting or another avenue regardless of the route I choose to take I want the journey to include going beyond what's deemed impossible. What started this dream? I don't remember a time when I didn't have this dream, however over the years the journey and my goals have changed, but the dream of being able to succeed to my full potential and be a part of creating positive change has always remained the same. If I was to say an age where I really started to focus I'd say when I was 15 I remember after the death of my dad a fire really started to burn within me and I wanted to create a better life for my mum, my family and the world around me. What motivates you to follow this dream? I'm motivated by the fear of mediocrity I never want to settle for average. If I was to say one particular person that inspires me the most, I'd have to say my Mum. She gave me the greatest gift I could ever ask for, she believed in me. So back to what motivates me, My biggest motivation is YOU. What I mean by that is I'm motivated by having the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others. So just like my mum did for me I want to give as many people as possible the gift of self belief. What are your goals? I have so many goals that I set myself across many platforms, however my main goal is to build a platform that allows me to inspire the world and leave a legacy that inspires the future. I believe we all have the ability to make a positive difference and I want to be a part of sparking that change. In my eyes that's the true goal in life. What would you like people to know and where can we find you? Some of you may not have a Dad that believes in you or a Mum that believes in you or even a friend / mentor that believes in you, but I want to tell you this, I BELIEVE IN YOU. Don't let anyone steal your dream. The only limits in life are the ones you create with your own mind. You can achieve anything and no matter how big your goal is it's not unrealistic. Don't be afraid to dream big. Nothing is impossible and nothing is unachievable. What motivates me to follow this dream is the fact that I get to do what I love , and there is a chance I can make a lot of money . What are your goals? My main goal is to have a good long career in the UFC, but if not i am just happy I get to do what I love and to me that is meeting my goal in life. Having a happy life! What would you like people to know and where can we find you? I would love people to know that even though I am a tough guy in the cage, I am a sweetheart outside of the cage, I'm calm at time and love to help others . You can find me on social media at Christos Giagos or Instagram @Cgiagos ![]() I believe in my dream to make movies which engage the audience into an immersive environment. To me a film has to be like that in order to make it a great film. My favourite films are known to do that. As it helps me escape the real world and be involved within the world of the film. For example my favourite films include The Dark Knight for example. That film is perfect to me, because it creates a realistic environment and you think that Batman is real. And that Gotham is a real place. Or like The Matrix and Inception. These films are metaphorically established to escape the real world and be in the dream world. I found that so fascinating how that it is a metaphoric depiction and yet they are both incredible pieces of filmmaking. I always dream to make a film like those and I believe that I will. One day I will. What started this dream? This dream originated as far as I can remember. I have been a film buff since the day I can remember. One of my earliest memories include watching Empire Strikes Back and seeing that battle of the hoth planet with the massive imperial warfighters. I was about three years old when I saw that and that image stuck by me. I didn’t really have any friends when I was growing up and I was a fat kid so I was not a sporty person as well. So, my childhood and even now is involved with movies. When I was a kid, it was a form of just going through the day and watching for the sake of entertainment. Now, I believed that films are more than just a form of entertainment. They have to be special in order to keep loving them. The films that I grew up such as Star Wars for example are special as they introduced me to film escapism. They helped me realise at a young age that a piece of entertainment can literally help you transport from the real world. I really needed that when I was a kid and I still do now. Films are magic to me and that magic lead me to dream more. That dream was to at first go into acting. But one day of doing performing arts in high school made me realise that it was not for me at all. So, I just continued my ways of dreaming. When I realised that when I wanted that dream to be a reality was when I saw The Dark Knight back in Summer 2008. That film changed my life altogether and because it introduced me to a realism escapism. A film that felt so realistic that it also did a perfect job of escaping the real world. It is a Batman film, it is a superhero film, it is a comic book film as well. Those points are for the escapism part. The realism part comes in when it revolves around a post-9/11 world and just how it mirrored it within the film. I never saw it as like that when I first saw it, but got it when I researched about it after. I was obsessed with the film. And because of Christopher Nolan who is my favorite director, The Dark Knight is the reason why I wanted to be a filmmaker. And it originated this dream. What motivates you to follow this dream? My family and friends keep saying to never give up. They know that I love and breathe cinema. They help me keep going, because I could never do this on my own. I need them to help me through the struggles and then I can reward them when I succeed. If that happens. I have been doing it since I was a kid and my love for movies help me motivate to follow this dream. I have been a student of film for many years. I studied it at college and university. At college, I was informed how each frame matters and how each frame illustrates so much theory. That motivated me because just how can a single piece of frame can help engage so much theory. That motivates me, because I still class myself a student of cinema even though I graduated from university. I always be a student of films. As that motivates me to keep making and watching films. What are your goals? My ultimate goal is to make a big budget science fiction film. I have been writing ideas and notes since I was 16. It's a passion project of mine and one day when it happens, I want to make that. That is my ultimate goal and I will do what it takes to reach that goal. What would you like people to know and where can we find you? I want to advise that if you love films as much as me and want to go into filmmaking, then I will listen to Shia LaBouf at this point and JUST DO IT! Pick up a camera and start shooting something. That’s how I learnt filmmaking. I never learnt it at university and you can’t teach filmmaking. Filmmaking is about your own perspective and creativity to tell the stories you want to tell. You can follow me on my social media. Twitter and Instagram - @fuwadabrar ![]() I believe in my dream to become an author, to publish that one book -no matter what happens. In the beginning, my older sister was initially the one who started writing. As you can imagine, the sibling rivalry trait took over. However, this opened the door for my imagination to run wild. I no longer write out of competitive spirit, but for the love of the art itself. It takes me away on days where I have been run dry, and opens the gateway for myself to thrive. It makes me laugh, and it makes me cry, and that’s exactly what we are supposed to experience in life -to find the passion that drives us day in and day out. It was a dream my ten-year old self set, and I want to live life without any regrets. I will publish a book no matter how hard or long it takes me. My first book, I am striving it to be released six months from now. I only have to finish writing it! It will be about a girl who became friends with a demon. However, after her parents found out her imaginary friend, Chirico, was real they had him exorcised. After years of researching, she became a paranormal investigator trying to find any signs from the other side and any sign of her friend that used-to-be, Chirico. I only pray people will also support me in this dream. To spread joy to people’s hearts and to give them the courage to do remarkable things, that is what I hope to accomplish through my words. If you’d like to support me: http://Twitter.com/writersluvbooks http://Facebook.com/writersluvbooks And coming soon to Youtube (channel name: writersluvbooks) ![]() I believe in my dream to be able to bring life to every person’s passion in life. I believe we have that something in us that we can share to others to be able to live peacefully and in harmony according to our talents and skills. Mine is the enjoyment of seeing the fulfillment of someone’s dreams. Einstein’s words are the foundation of what I like to accomplish, “Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its life believing it is stupid” - by that I would like to create a platform where people can live their passions and be able to pay their bills and in the process find their true potential and meaning. A place where every passion is celebrated and every person is acknowledged of his skills. What started this dream? When I was young, probably in the years of 8-10 my life was in sketching, I extremely like the rush and serenity of being able to just sit and do something you really love. I could spend the whole day sketching even forgetting to eat. Until one day someone told me I can not make a life in arts alone, devastated me really bad and as a boy I could do nothing but drop my passion and live a life like “the normal boy” they say. That made me live a life apart from my innate self, It made me less of who I truly am. Living my life then was really painful, growing up carrying a deep hole left unfilled. I never want that to happen to anyone. It pains me seeing people doing things they don’t love. It kills me knowing there are people living a life I lived, you know? always wondering what would life be if I chose to be who I am. It dawned on me what I should bring value to people. I want them to stop doing what they don’t love and start doing what they are innately good at to follow their passions. What motivates you to follow this dream? I have that innate feeling I always want to feel when a great talent is finally acknowledged and revered. I feel extreme joy watching a person being acknowledged. Every person has that same light in the face when they reach a certain goal, praised by their boss for a great job, a singer getting a standing ovation and the like. I want to be the reason of that light in someone’s face. It motivates me to be that person who creates something, a platform where every passion is lived and along the way monetize it to continually have a way of becoming it his profession. I want to become that someone people say “because of you I made a way to live the life I want, the job I love and the dreams which was once untravelled”. What are your goals? As a web developer and startup enthusiast I now have learned that I don’t need to wait for anyone who will create the future I want, I learned that the future is bendable as long as you will it. My goal now is to materialize the startup I want to create, a video sharing website/app, social network, multi-field portfolio for artistic individuals and professions that pay like YouTube on top of YouTube that provide a personal/promotional space to market their careers as well as a way to monetize their passions so they can continually live a life they want. What would you like people to know and where can we find you? I want to let people know that I am only 24 years old, I can’t achieve my goals alone and that I need help. I am looking for people who can trust me to fund the idea and make a future where no dreams will be left untravelled. If there are interested people who want to know more about what I want to do, I can be reached through my twitter account: @iamjulesdm |
