Dreamers Blog
I believe in my dream to become a professional play-by-play broadcaster. What started this dream? This dream started when I realized I wasn't going to be a professional athlete (that took way too long in retrospect) but knowing I still really wanted to do something in the sport industry. Pretending to commentate games on TV or video games my friends were playing was a fun hobby of mine, then it clicked that I could do this for a living. What motivates you to follow this dream? The desire to improve and the excitement of calling a game motivates me. There's no activity I love more than being in the booth and calling the action in front me, and channeling the energy I see on the field. Ring announcing was an incredible experience too, the exhilarating feeling of stepping into the cage and belting out the fighters' names to the crowd cannot be understated. What are your goals? My ultimate, way-down-the-road goal, is to be the play-by-play broadcaster for the UFC. But hey, I've called division three lacrosse and loved it, so I'll take what I can get in the meantime. What would you like people to know and where can we find you? Fun fact, preparing to call a game is the only thing I do not procrastinate.
