I believe in my dream to be one hundred percent student loan debt free and help millions of others to accomplish that goal too.
What started this dream?
My Dream started when I graduated from high school. Unfortunately, I lost my mother at ten years old to breast cancer. She instilled two important lessons: travel the world and get a college education. I conquered both those requests, one due in part to the help of the Academic Advancement Program at my university. This program partnered me with tutors and helped me to stay engaged socially. If I could in any way can help another student accomplish their academic goals without the burden of debt it would be my honor. Shifting my mindset on the topic of student loans was due in part to my aunt introducing me to Dave Ramsey. I launched my instagram page in October of 2016 to share my two year journey of getting out of debt, and help as many people along the way as I can.
What are your goals?
I want to create an online community of support for people wanting to get out of, and avoid student loan debt. With over one point three trillion dollars of debt owed by over four million people there's a definite need in the market place. Insufficient knowledge about student loans and the overwhelming response on instagram lets me know that this is a topic that people need help with.
What would you like people to know and where can we find you?
Currently I have a blog showcasing my journey of getting out of student loan debt at www.loanfreestudent.com. People can also follow me on instagram @loanfreestudent. My Dream of a website and app will hopefully be available one day. I'm also pursing a 501 c 3 status by this summer. Thanks for allowing me to share my DREAM!!!
